Renovatio Soul Art Exhibit

Renovatio Soul is a multi dimensional art show incorporating elements of visual, performance, and fashion art. As 'change agents' this generation has been penned for capitalizing off cultural trends and neo cultural influences. While the nature of the art itself has been compromised in the past decade, its overall significance remains true today. In graphic, physical, or performance based form, urban art tells stories and narrates the experiences of a generation in progress. Renovatio, being Latin for 'rebuild', highlights the need to revitalize this community by showcasing infused artistic dynamics and providing a space for open network and collaboration.

The event will feature the acclaimed pieces of Maurice Bradford (www.moesartdesign.com) Moe's Art and Design www.moesartdesign.com. I am honored to have the opportunity to display my work along side such phenomenal talent....You will NOT want to miss out on Moe's Art!!


Also featuring other local artists such as:
~Photographer Rita of My Level Creations (www.mylevelcreations.com) exhibiting a sample of the almost famous 'Bare Naked Souls' Project and you wont want to miss out on all the beautiful images and more


~Live Performance from TT the Artist (www.myspace.com/houseoftproductions)....this girl is AWESOME! Please check her out!


~The live art show will portray moving pieces of visual art in fashion, hair, and/or body art forms.

~DJ Village Child will be spending the tunes

~The Soul Sis will be keeping the crowd alive on the Mic

Spring Portraits

Since we have another great weekend coming up, why not come out to The National Arboretum and have your child's spring portrait taken around a beautiful variety of flowers, plants, trees, and nature at its best. So if you missed out last weekend, no worries because it's back around again....

If you would schedule a photo session, please reserve for 1 of the 2 dates:

When: Saturday, April 25, 2009
Where: National Arboretum (R Street N.E. off of Bladensburg Road)
Time: 10:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Please reserve as soon as possible to guarantee a photo session. All sessions will last for about 30 minutes each and you will receive all photos (4x6 in.) taken during the session with the option of upgrading to a portrait package if needed. All photo sessions are priced at $25.00 for a limited time only.
